CT Cage Match - SHED vs. Fairfield of Dreams vs. Rumour Cauldron

It's Round Four of the 2017-2018 Connecticut Cage Match!

See improvised comedy from these three groups: SHED (returning winners), Fairfield of Dreams, and The Rumour Cauldron!

Then, the audience votes to decide who wins and moves on to the next round!

We're members of Sea Tea Improv. They've kept us locked up and hidden for years. We've finally escaped and named ourselves after the only home we've ever known. SHED SHED SHED SHED SHED SHED SHED SHED SHED SHED SHED.

SHED

Fairfield of Dreams delivers long-form improv comedy characters who've got game. We are a group of seasoned improvisers trapped in the suburbs of Fairfield County, Connecticut, who've come to play. We'll knock it outta the park for you with our shows! Our teammates are Chris Dube, Scott Durkee, Shawna Feeley, Glenn Packman, Kerstin Rao, Dana Rossi, Fred Seufert, and George Walsh. We've got a century of performing experience between us at venues including UCB, the Magnet, the PIT, Caroline's, Broadway Comedy Club, various colleges, and Sea Tea Theater in Hartford, CT.

The Rumour Cauldron creates a improvised story based on your suggestion. Like rumours mixed in a cauldron!

Asking For A Friend with Chion Wolf
Saturday, January 20 at 7:00 PM

Asking For A Friend with Chion Wolf

Asking For A Friend is a live advice* show at Sea Tea Improv's underground comedy theater for curious people with a sense of humor.

Write down your problem, put it in the big red box, and host Chion Wolf (WNPR, The Mouth-Off at The Mark Twain House & Museum, the Hartford Hot Several, Night Fall) will help you figure it all out with her panel of unqualified yet enthusiastic, thoughtful humans.

At the end of the night, Chion picks one audience volunteer randomly who gets a free pair of tickets to next month’s show, and the grand finale is a Reading of Confessions.

Very mature children are invited, and immature adults welcomed, profanity likely.

The audio of each show will be recorded live and released later as a podcast, so if you don't want your snorting laughter or gasps of realizations broadcast to the whole world, please bring your highly-effective muffling techniques.

Asking For A Friend with Chion Wolf

If you're struggling in this chaotic, cruel, funny, absurd, amazing world, and you need someone to talk to, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255.

What's cool is that you don't have to be suicidal to call them. You don't need to be at your lowest point to find help. You are NOT alone, and you’re always welcome at Sea Tea.
