8-week Focus-Level Longform Improv Course

Where: Sea Tea Improv Studio
In this course, students will explore beyond the initial scene into second beats in this focus on longform improvisation. Players will be honing in on skills such as tag outs, bending the space, walk-ons, advancements, callbacks, group games and scene painting. The course ends in a share performance for an invited audience.
Prerequisites: Completion of at least two of our “Foundation” level courses (The Scene, The Game, The Character), or permission from Sea Tea Improv (request permission by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org).
This course is limited to 12 students.
About the Instructor:
Jeffrey William Schaefer is a performer with Sea Tea Improv and was recently accepted to Advanced Study Improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in NYC. He has been studying and performing improv since 2010. At UCB, he’s studied under such performers as Jon Gabrus, Ben Rodgers, Anthony Atamanuik, Will Hines, Ryan Karels, Eric Scott, and Rachael Mason. Additionally, Jeffrey is an experienced English teacher, writer, and cat enthusiast who resides in Hartford, CT.
