8-week Focus-Level Longform Improv Course

Where: Sea Tea Improv Studio
In this course, students will explore beyond the initial scene into second beats in this focus on longform improvisation.
Players will be honing in on skills such as tag outs, bending the space, walk-ons, advancements, callbacks, group games and scene painting.
The course ends in a share performance for an invited audience.
Prerequisites: Completion of at least two of our Foundation-level courses (The Scene, The Game, The Character), or permission from Sea Tea Improv (request permission by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org ).

|About the Instructor: Laura Manasewich is an improvisor living in Connecticut. She is currently an Advanced Study student at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC and has trained with many amazing instructors and her own improv heroes. She has performed with Sea Tea all over the northeast and beyond. She’s also had incredible opportunities to perform in unique longform styles such as Improvised 80’s Movie, Campfire, and Spoken. She is a former member of the longform troupe Moebius. Laura has dipped her toes into the waters of sketch comedy and was lucky enough to perform in shows for Hartford’s Asylum Attich and Knuckle Sandwich’s Disney Reality Show. She hopes to keep swimming in the sketch waters. She is a current student at Gotham Writers Workshop in NY. Laura is also an instructor for Sea Tea Improv. She’s taught numerous classes, and some of her students even come back to take more! Teaching is one of Laura’s proudest accomplishments in Sea Tea.|
