Vlad Perez

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Vladimir Perez is an actor/writer residing in Los Angeles.

As an actor, Vlad can be seen in network sitcoms including Modern Family, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Netflix’s Murderville and the Disney+ show Diary of a Female President.

As a writer, Vlad was a semi-finalist in the 2019 HBO Writing Fellowship and honored to be a part of the 2018 Native American TV writers Lab and 2019 Native American Animation Lab (Taino Indian-Puerto Rico).

Vlad was selected for the CBS Diversity Showcase 2017 as an Actor.

Vlad is also a proud recipient of the Groundlings NBC/Universal Diversity scholarship 2018.

He performed sketch and improv around Los Angeles on the iO Mainstage Sketch team Drug Money, The UCB Mess Hall team Fresh Kicks and his Experimental Vaudeville team Perez, Haynes & Sons. Vlad’s sketch Resting Gangster Face was selected to be filmed for the 2017 IFC Showcase during the San Francisco Sketchfest.

At UCB, Vlad hosts the LA Weekly Top Pick show The Hip Hop Source Awardz and was a cast member in the Latino play CarteLOL.

Before appearing in the CBS Diversity showcase in 2017, Vlad was a writer in the 2016 CBS showcase and wrote the show closing sketch Black Stormtroopers.

Vlad is a founder/owner of the Sea Tea Comedy Theater in Hartford, CT and O.B. City Entertainment in Los Angeles.

After 25 years he still hasn’t figured out who his favorite Wu-Tang Clan member is.
