What If

Buying the bar a round of drinks? Skydiving? Living in another country for a year? What If is a solo improv show about the dreams we wait to chase and the obstacles that get in the way. With the audience joining in as the good and bad voices in our heads, What If celebrates the flaws, fabulosity and funniness that we all have inside of us.
Mary Carpenter, the creator & performer of What If, is an actor, improviser, teacher, director & writer. She is a graduate of Northwestern and LAMDA. What If premiered at CSz Philadelphia’s 3-2-1 show, and has also been seen at SideQuest’s Weird Weekend, Hartford Improv Festival, Baltimore Improv Festival & Countdown Improv festival. Mary has been a company player at ComedySportz Philly for over 30 years. Other improv: City of Nutterly Love with The Second City, Dangerous Fools ‘Til Death Do Us Part, 3M, Blank: An Improvised Star Wars Story, and more. She wrote Do Or Do Not: How To Improvise Like A Jedi.
