The Pattern Game is an opener for a Harold or other longform improv set that utilizes word association to generate ideas and comedic premises.
The goal of this workshop is to use the structure of the pattern game to help you identify and and develop comedic premises efficiently and cooperatively with a team, and to practice following the fun. The qualities of a successful pattern game will be discussed and exercised, then applied to improv scenes to help us identify the fun idea quickly and support the fun as a team.
Come get your reps in and let’s get those premise-based improv muscles SHREDDED.
