Providing our scene partners with gifts (information about their characters) can elevate our scenes in unique and fun ways. While exploring the love language of gift giving, we will discover the myriad of gifts we can utilize in scenes, the best practices for accepting, owning and implementing them, and what it means to truly know your scene partner.

Instructor: Amanda Breen

About the Instructor: Amanda Breen is a queer improviser and writer who wears many hats, literally and figuratively. Amanda is the Director of Improv & the Training Center at The Upright Citizens Brigade (NY). They teach improv at UCB, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, and Second City Brooklyn. You can catch them on one of their stages as well, as Amanda performs with ASSSSCAT at UCB, monthly at BCC & UCB with a team of psychopaths, Duchovny, and around the city with indie teams. Their true specialty - knowing where the closest Starbucks is.
