Every week at NYC's Magnet Theater, the Megawatt house team Macbeth (aka "the Scottish Improv Team") brings you totally improvised shows featuring dramatic twists, absurd leaps of logic, and finales that leave us understanding less than when we started. Characters grounded in our reality take off into magical new worlds inspired by your favorite genres of cinema and theater, or whatever wild idea pops into our heads.
KnucklePuck (Hartford, CT)
KnucklePuck formed in 2014 in Hartford CT, where they perform their high energy sets as a Sea Tea Comedy Theater house team. KnucklePuck takes your suggestion, unpacks it a little bit, and then transforms it into something you would have never imagined. It starts with a word. Then a question. Then a tornado. Then a time machine. Then a mime machine. Then an ima sheen. Thems a mighta sheen. Them some mighty sheep. KNUCKLEPUCK. THEM SOME MIGHTY SHEEP.
fka Deb (New York, NY)
fka Deb is a Harold team at the illustrious Upright Citizens Brigade. When they were first assembled, fka Deb was the team that garnered the most messages along the lines of, “Oh, your team is CRAZY.” They believe this was meant as a compliment, but it is open to interpretation. Their members have appeared on Comedy Central, The Onion, NowThis, Vice, and more.
