Choose from Three Tracks of Study

We love and teach all forms of comedy. The weekend session will offer three tracks of which you can focus on one:

  • Improv Comedy

This track will focus on short forms games in the style of Whose Line Is It Anyway? You’ll learn the concepts of improv comedy, how to think on your feet, and how to put together an improv performance! This group will perform their set during the class show at the end of the weekend.

  • Sketch Comedy

This track will write and produce comedic sketches similar to those seen on Saturday Night Live, Key & Peele, and Chapelle Show. This group will learn how to take a list of funny ideas and jokes and turn them into a short sketch show that will be performed at the end of the weekend.

  • Stand-Up Comedy

Do you find yourself observing weird things in life and laughing? Do you tell these stories to your friends and they laugh? Try stand-up! Taking a funny observation and idea and turning it into a relatable performance will be the focus of this track. Each student in this group will perform their own original stand-up routine at the end of the weekend.

Each track is limited to 8 students.
