Merriam: A Matzah Ballin' Good Time
Merriam: A Matzah Ballin’ Good Time

A drag cabaret starring Merriam Levkowitz, her husband Maury on sound and her back up dancers in tow ready to serve up a Matzah Ballin’ good time.

Merriam recounts her last Passover Seder, reminiscing about each of her three children.

It’s a night filled with laughs, disco parodies, a little kvetching and always, well, guilt.

Saturday, March 25th at 9PM
Sunday, March 26th at 2PM

Past acting/puppetry credits include: Rent (Ivoryton Playhouse), Gypsy starring Tony-award winner Karen Ziemba, Puppets Take the Pops (Boston Pops/University of Connecticut Puppet Arts Program), and Next to Normal (Little Theater of Manchester). Hartford's Groove Exchange
Benefit for anti-racist organizations CTCORE-Organize Now and Unidad Latina en Acción - ULA!!

The Anti-diVision League & Sea Tea Comedy Theatre presents Hartford’s Groove Exchange! Coming all the way from Armenia, fusing old world and new world sounds, Miqayel Voskanyan & Friends (featuring Sevana Tchakerian) will be joining forces with some of CT’s hottest local bands for a night of musical/cultural exchange.

Our city is rich in diversity, as well as art and we want to use music to celebrate both. Join us on March 29th for what we are calling “Hartford’s Groove Exchange”, where we celebrate the Universal language of music and our city's diversity through a musical vibration and a cultural exchange!

Hartford’s own Armenian community has helped make this event happen, we are hoping it is just the first demonstration of the kind of beautiful events we can create when we appreciate and value each other’s cultures, celebrate them together.

Joining Miqayel Voskanyan & Friends will be three of CT's finest bands; Hartford's Hot Several, Lil Sluggers and Mantis.
Music provided by DJ Sabotage!!!

Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door:

Hanging with Harold (Drop-In Event)
Hanging with Harold is not a class or a workshop. It's not a show, either. It's a "learn by doing" drop-in event where Sea Tea Improv Studios students, Sea Tea Comedy Theater performers, and members of the Connecticut improv community (that's you, just by showing up!) practice a kind of longform improv comedy together known as the Harold. Learn more about the Harold here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_(improvisation)

"You'll have to do about a hundred Harolds to start feeling comfortable with the form." - Matt Besser, founding member of the Upright Citizens Brigade

We track of the cumulative number of Harolds done by each participant from week to week. Each week, we will do 1, 2 or 3 Harolds (time depending), and everyone who participates will add to their Harold total. Can you reach 100 completed Harolds?

Just $5 per person via cash at the door, Venmo (@seateaimprov), or PayPal (comedy@seateaimprov.com).
