2023 Auditions for Sea Tea Improv’s House Teams! 5/20 to 5/23
Sea Tea Comedy Theater is looking to fortify and expand our diverse cast of committed, talented, experienced, and flexible performers. Auditioners should be willing and eager to continue to learn, grow, and adapt with us as we strive to create high-quality, intelligent comedy for Connecticut and beyond.
To support this goal, Sea Tea Improv is holding two different types of auditions:
- Auditions for individuals wishing to be placed on a new improv team: Individual Audition Form and Details
- Auditions for improv teams wishing to perform regularly at the theater: Team Audition Form and Details
If you’re reading this and thinking, “Wait, didn’t Sea Tea just hold auditions in the fall?” you’re correct. Prior to the pandemic, we held auditions annually each spring, so this small-scale audition for house teams only is helping us get back to our regular cadence. Auditions will be held annually in the spring going forward.
Please note that current house teams DO NOT need to re-audition! If your team auditioned for/was formed from the fall 2022 auditions, you do not need to sign up for an audition.
Audition Process for 2023
- Rather than selecting your time slot, you will select your availability for multiple time slots and we will get back to you swiftly with your audition date. This allows us to make sure groups are evenly sized and spaced. Please try to be accurate with your availability.
- The deadline to submit your audition availability is May 15th, 2023. You may find out your time slot earlier (we will fill them as we go).
